Welcome to the website of WAVE Trauma Centre - a grass roots, cross community charity offering care and support to people bereaved, injured or traumatised as a result of 'The Troubles' in Northern Ireland; irrespective of religious, cultural or political beliefs.

WAVE was established in 1991 and now operates from 5 locations - Belfast, Armagh, Omagh, Ballymoney and Derry/Londonderry.  Services are also provided from other satellite offices.

Our main sources of funding come from the Victims Unit within the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister (OFMDFM), administered by the Community Relations Council; as well as European Funding through the PEACE III programme.
