NI Water dig deep for WAVE

16th November 2016

Volunteers from NI Water digged deep for WAVE last week by helping to create a garden pond and tidying up our Garden of Hope at the Belfast Centre.

Organised through Business in the Community, a large number of NI Water employees including CEO Sara Venning visited our Belfast Centre to transform our Garden of Hope and get it ready for Winter.

Tasks completed included constructing a lean-to extension to the garden shed, weeding, raking up leaves and general garden maintenance as well as digging and lining our circular garden pond. We are hoping to finish developing the pond by installing a filter system and a range of fish.

It was a beautiful crisp Autumn day and the Volunteers seemed to thoroughly enjoy their time here. WAVE on behalf of its clients and staff would like to express our sincere thanks to the volunteers from NI Water for their hard work and enthusiasm.

Your contribution has revamped our Garden of Hope which continues to offer a natural place of sanctuary and comfort to our clients.
