Seamus Kelters

28th September 2017

Tributes have been paid to BBC journalist Seamus Kelters following his death on Wednesday.

Seamus had ongoing contact with WAVE over many years. Alan McBride writes 'As a journalist Seamus was a credit to his profession, his commitment to reporting the news in Northern Ireland brought him into contact with all sorts of people, yet his canter was always the same, a gentleman and all round good decent guy whose loss will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him'.

Rev Dr David Clements remembers Seamus for his compassion and sensitivity. 'Seamus Kelters did a remarkable piece of work in his contribution to Lost Lives. He did this with meticulous care and most importantly with great compassion and sensitivity to the families of those whose lives were lost'.

Our thoughts are with Seamus's family and friends. Such a tragic loss.
