Training Courses at WAVE

9th February 2014

Facing History & Ourselves

We continue to engage with many of you on issues related to dealing with the past. Using the Holocaust and Irish history as our backdrop, we explore how deep division is allowed to happen in society and what we can do to challenge it!

Course Details: The course will run in Lisburn Civic Centre for four Tuesday evenings – 6, 13, 20 and 27 May and one Saturday – 31 May 2014. The evening classes will run from 6pm to 9pm with a light meal at 5.30pm. The Saturday class will run from 10am to 4pm and lunch will be provided. Our thanks to Lisburn City Council for supporting this course.

Epilogues: Human Rights and the under lying causes of political conflict

For those who want a deeper understanding of the complexity of the conflict in and about Northern Ireland, we are delighted to work with our friends at Gaslight Productions to run epilogues again. This course will run for four consecutive Tuesdays commencing 29 April 2014. Each session will run from 10am to 4pm. The course will take place at WAVE's centre in Belfast and lunch will be provided.
