 Recognition for All Campaign

The Recognition for All campaign which was launched in the Autumn of 2009 aims to bring about recognition for those who were injured as a result of the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

Recognition in terms of the trauma they suffered but also of the inadequate (if any) amount of compensation that was paid. As Northern Ireland attempts to deal with its troubled past, the injured are often forgotten about – the campaign for recognition is seeking to redress this through political lobbying, etc.

Although this campaign is facilitated through WAVE, many of those involved are not members of WAVE and have come as individuals or as members of other groups.

The campaign is supported by the former Victims Commissioner Sir Kenneth Bloomfield and the group plan to lobby politicians, government ministers and others with influence.

If you consider yourself injured and would like to get involved please call Alan McBride on 90779922 or email him for more information.
