Youth Services at WAVE
WAVE's Youth service is offered to all young people aged between five and twenty-five years affected by the ‘Troubles’. Activities are offered on a cross-community basis, in keeping with the ethos of the organisation.
Due to funding issues, we have been unable to offer group programmes over the last six months, however we continue to provide the following valuable support to our youth members:
- One to one befriending
- Peer group support
- Personal development
- Youth psychotherapy
- Wee WAVEs (5-12 years) - drama programme
The drama programmes are run in partnership with Youth Action.
We are currently recruiting for volunteer mentors for our Youth service. Please note, volunteers must be over 18.
