Donate to WAVE
As an organisation, we do not charge for many of the services available to our members to ensure those who need support can access it, without concerns over associated costs.
We receive financial support from key funders to provide our core services, however this funding is restricted to specific areas of spend, which prevents many successful and beneficial activities or project from being repeated.
Unrestricted income generated through our fundraising activities enables us to offer opportunities which are led by the needs of our members. Each outreach centre has annual target to raise through local fundraising initiatives and donations from people who support our work.
If you would like to make a donation, please choose the most convenient method outlined below:
Donate by cheque/postal order
Please make payable to ‘WAVE Trauma Centre’ and send to Friends of WAVE, 5 Chichester Park South, Belfast, BT15 5DW.
Donate by credit/debit card
Please contact our head office on 028 9077 9922 Monday to Thursday between 9am and 5pm and Friday between 9am and 3.45pm.
Donate online
We are currently developing our Just Giving webpage and will update this section soon to provide the facility for potential donors to give online or via text message.

By completing the gift aid declaration you can increase the value of your gift by 28p for every £1 you give – click on the file at the bottom of the page to download the declaration form. Please return to our head office, at the address above.
Payroll Giving
We accept donations through the ‘Give as you earn’ scheme, which many employers offer, so check with your HR department. This way, you can give a regular, tax free donation to support our work. On each payday the amount of your choice is taken from your wages before tax, meaning that every £1 you donate will only cost you 80p (60p if you are a higher rate tax payer) – the taxman pays the rest!
Gifts In-kind
If you are a company, you could support our work by donating products or services in kind. We regularly hold fundraising events, which often rely on prizes for ballots or auctions. Leaving a Legacy
For those who have been affected by the ‘Troubles’ in any way, leaving a legacy is a meaningful way of supporting the work of WAVE. This is a personal decision and should be discussed with your legal advisor.
