Picture This
This project sought to use photography as a mechanism for sharing a story—7 young people where each given a disposable camera and sent off to take photographs that they could use to share their particular experience of the ‘Troubles’.
For some this was quite an emotional experience as it meant revisiting past events, places their loved ones used to go, things that were important to that person and therefore significant when retelling the story. Each story was different and each member of the group approached it in a different way but one thing most had in common was a determination to visit the scene of the murder.
